Job Description
Are you an alert, reliable, and observant individual looking for a unique security opportunity? Allied Universal is seeking dedicated Film Set Location Security personnel for overnight shifts in the exciting and dynamic environment of film production. This role involves protecting valuable equipment, ensuring cast and crew safety, and maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of active film sets. Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard film set locations, equipment, and production assets during overnight hours.
- Monitor access points and control entry/exit of personnel and vehicles.
- Conduct regular patrols of the set perimeter and interior, identifying and reporting any suspicious activity.
- Enforce set rules and regulations, ensuring a secure and undisturbed working environment.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or security breaches and escalate as necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports.
- Collaborate with production staff to understand and address specific security needs.
- Protect the privacy and confidentiality of production details, cast, and crew.
Required Skills
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain vigilant and focused during overnight shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of security principles and practices.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
- Experience working in event security or dynamic environments.
- Familiarity with film production environments.
- Valid New Jersey SORA Security Officer Registration (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- First Aid/CPR certification.
