Key Responsibilities

  • Learning and understanding railroad operating rules, signal indications, and track layouts.
  • Assisting experienced dispatchers in monitoring and controlling train movements within an assigned territory.
  • Communicating effectively with train crews, maintenance personnel, and other railway employees.
  • Documenting train movements, delays, and other operational information accurately.
  • Participating actively in all training modules and passing required examinations.
  • Responding to emergency situations and implementing established protocols.
  • Adhering strictly to all safety regulations and operational procedures.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to learn and retain complex information quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications
