Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Newsletter Creator to join our remote marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging weekly email newsletters that inform, inspire, and connect with our merchant community. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement visually appealing and engaging weekly email newsletters using our internal platforms.
- Collaborate with content strategists and marketing specialists to gather content and ensure brand consistency.
- Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for newsletter subject lines, previews, and body content.
- Ensure all newsletters are mobile-responsive and accessible across various email clients.
- Conduct A/B testing on email elements (e.g., subject lines, calls-to-action) to optimize performance.
- Monitor email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates) and provide insights for improvement.
- Stay updated on email marketing best practices, trends, and compliance regulations (e.g., CASL, GDPR).
- Manage and organize content assets and templates for efficient workflow.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated ability in graphic design, email design, or web design (portfolio or examples highly beneficial).
- Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of English grammar and style.
- Proficiency with design software (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe XD) or similar email design tools.
- Basic understanding of email marketing principles and digital communication.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning new technologies and concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template customization.
