Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Public Health Administration Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in public health administration. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success in this vital role. You will support various administrative functions within our public health initiatives, contributing to the efficient operation of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to public health staff and programs.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail.
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings, and prepare necessary materials.
  • Assist with data entry and basic report generation.
  • Answer phones, direct calls, and provide general information to inquiries.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Support the coordination of public health events and initiatives.
  • Perform other general clerical duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
