Job Description
Lowe’s Canada is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Warehouse Worker for night shifts at our Boucherville distribution center. This is a full-time opportunity perfect for those starting their career, offering comprehensive training and a supportive environment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the efficient movement of products, contributing to our commitment to customer satisfaction. We value safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. No prior warehouse experience is required – we will provide all the necessary training to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment during night shifts.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring proper documentation and storage.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) after proper training and certification.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and quality checks as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and count items.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, especially for night shifts.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and processes.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a physical labor role.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations or logistics (an asset, but not required).
- Ability to communicate in French or English.
