Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce Platform Migration Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. This is a fully remote position, offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in e-commerce operations and digital project management within a dynamic global brand. The successful candidate will support our digital team in the critical phase of migrating our e-commerce platforms, ensuring data accuracy and smooth transitions. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for individuals looking to start or advance their career in e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for product catalogs, customer data, and order histories.
- Perform meticulous data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy across migrated platforms.
- Support the project team in testing new e-commerce functionalities and user flows.
- Document migration steps, challenges, and solutions clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Marketing, Product) to resolve data discrepancies and technical issues.
- Provide regular updates on migration progress and contribute to project meetings.
- Learn and utilize various e-commerce tools and platforms as required.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento) is a plus but not required.
