Job Description

Target Corporation is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Guest Services team as a Remote Email Support Agent. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who excel in written communication and prefer a 100% text-based work environment with absolutely no phone calls. As an Email Support Agent, you will be the first line of written contact for our guests, resolving inquiries, providing information, and ensuring a positive brand experience through professional and empathetic email correspondence. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success in this fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to guest inquiries via email in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.
  • Provide clear and concise information regarding products, orders, services, and policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve guest issues, escalating complex cases to senior support as needed.
  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through polite and helpful communication.
  • Document all guest interactions and resolutions accurately in our internal systems.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless guest support.
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines in all guest interactions.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new product information, system updates, and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with basic computer functions and navigating web-based applications.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role (even if not text-based).
