Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and active individuals to join our team as Golf Course Caddies. This is an exciting opportunity for those who love the outdoors, enjoy physical activity, and thrive in a customer-focused environment. As a Caddy, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our golfers’ experience by providing valuable course insights, carrying bags, and offering excellent support throughout their round. This role offers excellent opportunities for cash tips in addition to an hourly wage, making it a rewarding position for motivated individuals. No prior caddying experience is required; we provide comprehensive training for all new hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry golf bags for assigned players throughout the course.
- Provide accurate yardage and course information to golfers.
- Assist players with club selection and strategy, as requested.
- Rake bunkers, replace divots, and repair ball marks to maintain course conditions.
- Offer exceptional customer service, anticipating and responding to player needs.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to all course rules and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Ability to walk and carry heavy loads (golf bags) for extended periods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn about golf course etiquette and caddying best practices.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of golf rules and etiquette.
- Experience in customer service or hospitality.
- Familiarity with the layout of Franklin Canyon Golf Course or similar local courses.
