Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Local Council Refuse Collectors / Bin Loaders. Key Responsibilities
- Operate refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently alongside a team (training provided for specific equipment)
- Load refuse and recycling bins onto collection vehicles according to established routes and schedules
- Navigate routes efficiently, ensuring all designated bins are collected
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations during operations
- Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of collection vehicles as required
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Report any issues or concerns regarding collections or equipment promptly
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with the public
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout a shift
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications
