Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Local Council Refuse Collectors / Bin Loaders. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently alongside a team (training provided for specific equipment)
  • Load refuse and recycling bins onto collection vehicles according to established routes and schedules
  • Navigate routes efficiently, ensuring all designated bins are collected
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations during operations
  • Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of collection vehicles as required
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Report any issues or concerns regarding collections or equipment promptly
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with the public
