Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Car Detailer to join our busy dealership team in Dandenong. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about cars and committed to delivering high-quality results. You will be responsible for ensuring all new and used vehicles meet our rigorous presentation standards before being delivered to our valued customers. This role offers stable, ongoing full-time work within a professional and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of new and used vehicles.
- Wash, wax, polish, and buff vehicle surfaces to a showroom finish.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets, seats, and interior upholstery.
- Clean and condition leather and vinyl surfaces.
- Apply protective coatings and sealants.
- Clean wheels, tires, and wheel wells.
- Inspect vehicles for any remaining imperfections and address them.
- Maintain a clean and organised detailing bay and equipment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and proper use of detailing products.
- Assist with vehicle movement within the dealership as required.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
- Proven experience in automotive detailing, ideally within a dealership or professional environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for perfection.
- Ability to work efficiently and autonomously, as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of various detailing products, tools, and techniques.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a professional car detailer.
- Experience with paint correction techniques.
- Certification in automotive detailing or related fields.
- Ability to operate detailing machinery (e.g., buffers, extractors).
- Commitment to ongoing learning and skill development.
