As a Trainee Loading Dock Coordinator, you will play a crucial part in the efficient movement of goods, ensuring products are received, stored, and dispatched correctly. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training programs to learn loading dock operations.
- Assist with the accurate receiving, sorting, and dispatching of goods.
- Learn to operate warehouse equipment safely under supervision (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, after certification).
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests and purchase orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on the loading dock.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers, warehouse staff, and management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Learn and implement inventory control procedures.
- Assist with resolving discrepancies in shipments.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
