Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Government Printing Office Assistant for a full-time, day shift position in our Kelowna facility. You will be instrumental in supporting the daily operations of our printing office, assisting with document preparation, basic machine operation, inventory management, and general administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare documents for printing, including sorting, collating, and binding materials.
- Operate basic printing and finishing equipment (e.g., paper cutters, binders, folders) under supervision.
- Perform quality checks on printed materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Maintain organized records of print jobs, materials used, and completed orders.
- Assist with inventory management of printing supplies, reporting low stock levels.
- Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required to support office operations.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with packing and dispatching finished products for distribution.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
