Job Description
Join our team at Ballarat E-Cycle Solutions as an E-Waste Disassembler! This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented and looking for easy, rewarding work that contributes to environmental sustainability. You will be responsible for carefully disassembling various electronic devices, primarily computers and related peripherals, to separate components for recycling or safe disposal. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently disassemble electronic devices, including computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment, into their core components.
- Sort disassembled materials (plastics, metals, circuit boards, batteries, etc.) into designated bins for further processing or recycling.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workstation.
- Identify and report any hazardous materials encountered during the disassembly process.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and carefully.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
