Job Description

Harvey Norman Bunbury is offering an exciting Marketing Student Placement opportunity for a Social Media Lead. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of social media marketing strategies across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) for the local store.
- Create engaging and innovative content, including text, image, and video, tailored to each social media channel.
- Schedule and publish social media posts to maximize audience reach and engagement.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, customer inquiries, and comments, responding promptly and professionally.
- Help analyze social media performance data to identify areas for improvement and report on campaign effectiveness.
- Research current social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our strategy fresh and competitive.
- Support the marketing team with various ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related degree program.
- Basic understanding of major social media platforms and their functionalities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong creative flair and an eye for engaging visual content.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
