Job Description
Are you a budding graphic designer with a passion for motion graphics and social media trends? Tesco is seeking a enthusiastic and creative Graphic & Motion Design Intern to join our dynamic marketing team in Romford. This is an incredible opportunity for an entry-level individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment. You will play a crucial role in developing engaging visual content for our social media channels, learning from experienced professionals, and contributing to campaigns that reach a broad audience. Full training and mentorship will be provided, focusing on developing your skills in graphic design, motion graphics, and understanding social media best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of static and animated graphics for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X).
- Support the design team in developing visual assets for marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Learn and apply brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual communications.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and campaign concepts.
- Research social media trends and competitor activities to inform creative strategy.
- Assist with minor video editing and motion graphics projects as needed.
- Collaborate with marketing specialists to optimize visual content for different platforms and audiences.
Required Skills
- Eagerness to learn and a strong passion for graphic design and motion graphics.
- Basic understanding of design principles (e.g., layout, typography, color theory).
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their content formats.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
