Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Car Valeter / Wash Attendant to join our busy team in Southport. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys making vehicles look their best. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. You will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles, both new and used, are cleaned to the highest standards, ready for display or customer handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing and cleaning vehicle exteriors to a showroom standard.
- Vacuuming and cleaning vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, and dashboards.
- Polishing and waxing vehicle surfaces.
- Cleaning windows and mirrors inside and out.
- Applying tire dressing and exterior trim shine.
- Ensuring vehicles are fueled and presented perfectly for customer collection or display.
- Moving vehicles safely around the site as required.
- Maintaining a clean and organised valeting bay.
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- A keen eye for detail and a meticulous approach to work.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid UK driving license (for moving vehicles on-site).
- Reliable and punctual.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role (though not essential, training provided).
- Knowledge of different cleaning products and techniques.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
