Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Spice Blending & Packaging Worker to join our day shift team in Repentigny. In this role, you will be instrumental in the production process, from accurately blending various spices to ensuring our products are perfectly packaged for distribution. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to batch recipes and production schedules.
  • Operate blending machinery to mix spices and create various seasoning blends.
  • Monitor blending processes to ensure consistency and quality of products.
  • Package finished spice blends into appropriate containers, ensuring correct labeling and sealing.
  • Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process blends, and finished goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP, GMP).
  • Operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Assist with inventory management and material handling as required.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to a supervisor.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes accurately.
  • Basic math skills for weighing and measuring ingredients.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP).
  • Experience operating blending or packaging machinery.
  • Forklift certification (an asset, but not required).
