Job Description
Join the Woolworths team as a Night Fill Team Member in Wangaratta and play a crucial role in ensuring our store is perfectly stocked and ready for our customers each morning. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and prefer working late-night shifts. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries, shelving products efficiently, and maintaining an organised backroom and sales floor. Full training will be provided to ensure you have all the skills needed to succeed in this vital role, making it ideal for those seeking an entry-level position with a competitive hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload merchandise from delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays with new products according to planograms.
- Rotate stock to ensure older products are sold first, minimising waste.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including the sales floor and backroom.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment safely (training provided if necessary).
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to work late-night shifts consistently.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 15kg regularly).
- Attention to detail for accurate stock placement and rotation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or similar physically demanding role (desirable but not essential).
- Familiarity with supermarket operations or stock handling procedures.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks.
