Job Description
Join our team as a Fertilizer Factory Hand in Alice Springs, NT. This ongoing, full-time position offers stability within a vital industry. You will be responsible for assisting with the manufacturing, blending, packaging, and dispatch of various fertilizer products, ensuring adherence to strict safety and quality standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork. Full training will be provided on specific plant operations and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation of machinery and equipment used in fertilizer production and packaging.
- Handle raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials.
- Monitor production processes and report any anomalies or issues.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Load and unload trucks, assisting with dispatch and inventory management.
- Strictly follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Participate in training and development programs as required.
