Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Ethical Hacker to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying vulnerabilities and potential attack vectors within our clients’ systems, applications, and networks. You will conduct comprehensive penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and security audits, providing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance their security posture. This position requires a strong technical background, a deep understanding of adversarial tactics, and a proactive approach to security challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth penetration testing on web applications, mobile applications, network infrastructure, and cloud environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits using automated tools and manual techniques.
- Identify, document, and report security weaknesses and their potential impact.
- Develop and implement proof-of-concept exploits to demonstrate vulnerabilities.
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for remediation to clients and internal teams.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security testing methodologies and tools.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices throughout the SDLC.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Kali Linux).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and web technologies.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Solid knowledge of common web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, GWAPT, GPEN).
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Background in incident response or forensic analysis.
- Experience with secure code review practices.
