Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious Commercial Window Cleaner Offsider to join our dynamic team in Belconnen. This ongoing full-time position involves assisting our lead window cleaners with high-rise and challenging commercial projects, ensuring all surfaces are sparkling clean. You will play a crucial role in preparing equipment, maintaining safety protocols, and supporting the primary cleaner in their tasks. While previous window cleaning experience is not required, a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead window cleaners in setting up and dismantling specialized equipment (ladders, hoists, safety gear).
- Prepare cleaning solutions and ensure all tools are clean and in good working order.
- Perform ground-level cleaning tasks as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Monitor safety lines and assist with fall protection equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Help transport equipment and supplies to and from job sites.
