Job Description
Join the energetic team at House of Blues Cleveland as an Event & Festival Bartender! We’re seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to deliver exceptional beverage service during our wide array of concerts, events, and festivals. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a high-volume, dynamic environment and love interacting with people. You’ll be crucial in creating memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring efficient service with a smile.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with House of Blues standards and local regulations.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately using a POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area before, during, and after events.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service, adhering to all legal requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests and enhancing their event experience.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth event operations.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment (e.g., events, clubs, busy restaurants).
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a high-volume setting.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a live music venue or festival setting.
- TIPS or ServSafe alcohol certification.
- Familiarity with POS systems specific to the hospitality industry.
- A passion for music and live events.
