We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to join our dedicated team.
Job Description
As a Scaffolding Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures on various project sites. This critical role involves leading a team of scaffolders, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, and managing project timelines and resources. We are actively seeking qualified individuals and are pleased to offer visa sponsorship for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily activities of scaffolding teams, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols.
- Plan and coordinate scaffolding projects, including material procurement, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA and company-specific standards.
- Train and mentor scaffolders, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate and safe scaffolding erection.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, safety incidents, and material usage.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Implement emergency procedures and conduct safety briefings.
- Oversee the quality control of all scaffolding work performed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in scaffolding erection, dismantling, and supervision.
- Demonstrated knowledge of scaffolding systems (e.g., system scaffold, tube and coupler, frame scaffold).
- In-depth understanding of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards for scaffolding.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant scaffolding certifications (e.g., competent person, advanced scaffolder).
- Associate's degree or vocational training in a related field.
- Experience with specialized scaffolding structures or complex industrial environments.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
