Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) to join our growing team in Wodonga, VIC. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in guiding our projects and clients towards achieving WELL Building Standard certification, promoting health and well-being in the built environment. You will work on a diverse portfolio of projects, collaborating with design teams, clients, and contractors to integrate wellness principles from conceptual design through to occupancy. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a significant impact on sustainable and healthy building practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary WELL AP resource for assigned projects, guiding project teams and clients through the WELL certification process.
- Conduct WELL feasibility studies, gap analyses, and preliminary assessments for new and existing buildings.
- Develop and implement WELL strategies, including documentation preparation, performance verification, and ongoing monitoring.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and project managers to integrate WELL requirements into design and construction.
- Provide technical expertise and training on WELL Building Standard requirements, healthy materials, indoor environmental quality, and human-centric design.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables related to WELL certification efforts.
- Liaise with the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) and third-party verifiers.
- Stay abreast of the latest WELL Building Standard updates, industry trends, and research in health and wellness in the built environment.
- Contribute to business development activities by promoting AECOM's wellness and sustainability services to prospective clients.
Required Skills
- WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) certification in good standing.
- Demonstrated experience in applying the WELL Building Standard to commercial, institutional, or residential projects.
- Strong understanding of building science, indoor environmental quality principles, and sustainable design practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science, Building Science, or a related field.
- Experience with other green building rating systems (e.g., Green Star, LEED).
- Familiarity with building performance simulation software or data analysis tools.
- Experience in client-facing roles and presenting technical information.
