Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable Industrial Degreaser for heavy-duty work within various industrial settings in Bendigo. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards in manufacturing plants, processing facilities, and workshops. You will be responsible for the thorough cleaning and degreasing of machinery, equipment, floors, and other surfaces using specialized tools and cleaning agents. This position offers high pay for individuals committed to rigorous work and adhering to strict safety protocols. Full training will be provided for dedicated candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate high-pressure cleaning equipment, steam cleaners, and other industrial degreasing machinery.
- Apply appropriate degreasing agents and cleaning solutions safely and effectively.
- Thoroughly clean and degrease industrial machinery, equipment components, floors, walls, and work areas.
- Remove grease, oil, grime, and other industrial residues to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure proper cleanliness and identify any potential hazards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Handle and dispose of waste materials and chemicals in accordance with established procedures.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete cleaning tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
Required Skills
- Strong physical fitness and stamina for heavy-duty, repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work in challenging industrial environments (e.g., noisy, dusty, varying temperatures).
