Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Aged Care Helpers for part-time morning shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to start a rewarding career in aged care, as full training will be provided. No prior experience is necessary – we value your empathy, willingness to learn, and commitment to providing exceptional support to our residents. You will assist with daily living activities, ensuring a comfortable and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including showering, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining dignity and privacy.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Help with mealtime assistance, encouraging adequate nutrition and hydration.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition or behaviour to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy environment for residents.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
