Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative AI Research Scientist to join our dynamic team in Johns Creek, GA. This role is for a brilliant mind passionate about advancing the state of the art in artificial intelligence, with a focus on foundational AI research, machine learning algorithms, and their practical applications. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge projects, publish in top-tier conferences, and collaborate with a global network of researchers. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct original research in various areas of AI, including but not limited to deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and ethical AI.
- Develop and implement novel algorithms and models to solve complex problems and advance scientific understanding.
- Publish research findings in leading AI conferences and journals.
- Collaborate with internal and external research teams to drive project goals and foster innovation.
- Present research results internally and externally, contributing to the broader scientific community.
- Mentor junior researchers and interns, contributing to the growth of the team.
- Translate research prototypes into robust, scalable solutions for real-world impact.
Required Skills
- PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Demonstrated strong research record with publications in top-tier AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL, KDD).
- Proficiency in at least one major deep learning framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Solid understanding of mathematical foundations of machine learning and statistics.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-doctoral experience or relevant industry research experience.
- Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing frameworks.
- Familiarity with ethical AI considerations and responsible AI development practices.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects or maintaining a strong online presence (e.g., GitHub).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
