Job Description
Join our vibrant team this summer as an Amusement Park Ticket Taker at Goodyear Ballpark! While we are primarily a baseball stadium, we host various family-friendly events, festivals, and special attractions throughout the summer that require enthusiastic and friendly ticket-takers. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for a fun, dynamic, and engaging summer job in a lively environment. You will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, playing a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable entry experience. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary – just bring your positive attitude and readiness to learn!
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests with a smile and positive attitude.
- Accurately scan and validate tickets using provided equipment.
- Provide clear directions and information about the event layout, attractions, and amenities.
- Assist guests with general inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized entrance area.
- Monitor guest flow and assist with crowd control as needed.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of cash handling and ticket scanning (training provided).
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (currently enrolled students are welcome to apply).
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus, but not required.
- Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are highly valued.
