Job Description
Join our vibrant team at Parc Aventure du Fjord as an Amusement Park Ticket Taker for the summer season! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for a fun, engaging, and fast-paced summer job. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training! As a Ticket Taker, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a positive and smooth entry experience into our park. You will be responsible for processing tickets, providing information, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all park guests with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
- Scan and validate admission tickets and season passes accurately and efficiently.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding park hours, attractions, and general information.
- Handle cash and card transactions for ticket sales and provide correct change.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at the ticket booth.
- Monitor queues and direct guests to appropriate entry points.
- Adhere to all park safety and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in French and English.
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a summer schedule.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or currently enrolled in a high school program.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality) is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
