Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Angular Developer to join our dynamic software development team in Harrogate. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance web applications using the latest Angular frameworks. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle from conception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to translate requirements into functional user interfaces.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues, identifying and implementing solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Angular (versions 9+ preferred) and its core principles.
  • Strong command of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with state management patterns (e.g., RxJS).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Ability to write unit and integration tests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with NgRx or other state management libraries.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Karma/Jasmine.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
