Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Architectural Graduate to join our close-knit boutique studio in Fremantle. This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience across diverse projects, working closely with experienced architects who are committed to providing comprehensive mentoring and professional development. You will be involved in all stages of the design process, from conceptualization and documentation to client presentations and site visits. We value creativity, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn and contribute to meaningful architectural design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior architects in all phases of project development, from schematic design to construction administration.
  • Prepare architectural drawings, 3D models, and visual presentations using industry-standard software.
  • Conduct research on building materials, codes, and sustainable design practices.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and project team coordination.
  • Contribute to design discussions and brainstorm sessions, offering fresh perspectives and ideas.
  • Develop detailed documentation and specifications under supervision.
  • Support the studio in administrative tasks as required.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for architectural design and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with local Western Australian building codes and regulations.
  • Basic understanding of sustainable design principles.
  • Experience with rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape) is a plus.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong design sensibilities and technical skills.
