Job Description
Are you an active individual looking for a dynamic role that keeps you moving? StarTrack is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Courier Runners for day shifts based out of our Osborne Park depot. This role is perfect for those who enjoy being outdoors, staying active, and are looking for a job with a clear purpose. You will be responsible for the efficient collection and delivery of parcels and packages to a variety of customers within a designated local area. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role, making this an ideal opportunity for motivated individuals keen to start a career in logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload parcels and packages from delivery vehicles.
- Deliver parcels to residential and commercial customers within specified timeframes.
- Collect outgoing parcels from customers as required.
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Complete delivery documentation and electronic manifests accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good working order of company vehicles.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Current and valid Australian Driver's License (Car or Light Rigid).
- Ability to lift and carry parcels of varying weights and sizes.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina for an active role.
- Good geographical knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area, particularly the northern suburbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a driving or delivery role is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- Customer service experience.
