Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architecture Draftsperson to join our New York team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating design concepts and sketches into detailed technical drawings and construction documents using CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and material specifications. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Translate design concepts and redlines into accurate technical drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Collaborate with project architects and designers to refine drawings and address design changes.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and design proposals.
- Manage and organize drawing sets and project files efficiently.
- Perform site visits as needed to verify existing conditions and document new construction.
- Research and incorporate material specifications and construction details into drawings.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and conventions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and specifications.
- Knowledge of building codes and construction processes.

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Experience with 3D rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, V-Ray).
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Previous experience working on large-scale commercial or institutional projects.
