Job Description
Join Providence Health & Services as a Home Health Aide and make a significant difference in the lives of individuals needing care and support in their homes. This unique opportunity is open to dedicated individuals, including those seeking an employment-based immigration pathway through the EB3 / Care Worker Visa program. We offer comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in this vital role. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities to our clients, enabling them to maintain independence and comfort within their own homes. We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and empathetic individuals eager to learn and contribute to a caring team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders as directed by care plan.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying living areas and laundry.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Accompany clients to appointments and on errands.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's health status or behavior to the supervising nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the client.
- Document services provided accurately and timely.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and client care plans.

- Previous experience in a caregiving role (personal or professional) is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
- CPR and First Aid certification (training provided if needed).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
