Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM Coordinator / Manager to join our dynamic team in Southend-on-Sea. This pivotal role involves overseeing the implementation and coordination of Building Information Modeling processes across various complex construction projects. You will be instrumental in driving digital transformation, ensuring seamless information flow, and upholding the highest standards of BIM execution. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement BIM execution plans for projects.
- Coordinate BIM models and data among various project stakeholders (architects, engineers, contractors).
- Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues in BIM models.
- Ensure adherence to BIM standards, protocols, and quality control procedures.
- Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
- Manage BIM data exports and deliverables for project lifecycle stages.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of BIM Level 2 standards and ISO 19650.
- Proven experience in BIM coordination and project delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., professional BIM qualification).
- Experience with other BIM software platforms (e.g., ArchiCAD, Bentley MicroStation).
- Knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.
- Experience in a management or leadership capacity within a BIM environment.
