Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Intelligence Developer Intern to join our dynamic team in Dallas. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about data, analytics, and data warehousing to gain hands-on experience in a professional consulting environment. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to real-world projects that involve designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions and data warehouses. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for individuals with foundational knowledge and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of data analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data warehouse solutions.
- Support the creation of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources.
- Help develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Contribute to the creation of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools.
- Participate in data quality and data validation activities.
- Assist with documenting technical specifications, data models, and BI solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Learn and apply best practices in data warehousing and business intelligence development.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of curiosity and a strong willingness to learn new technologies and concepts.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema).
- Exposure to any Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense).
- Knowledge of any programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation.
- Previous project experience related to data analysis or database management.
