Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting, fast-paced, and rewarding short-term opportunity this Christmas season? Woolworths Group is seeking enthusiastic and high-energy Christmas Casual Packers to join our dynamic team in Palmerston. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a busy environment, are keen to contribute to a successful holiday period, and are ready to learn new skills. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are perfectly prepared for our customers during our busiest time of the year. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately pack a variety of products according to company standards and customer orders.
- Sort and organise stock within the warehouse or distribution centre.
- Safely lift, move, and handle packages of various sizes and weights.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily packing targets.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- High level of energy and a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
- No prior experience required – full training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or fast-paced environment is a plus, but not essential.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, during the Christmas period.
