Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, filters, ducts, and exhaust fans, using specialized tools and chemicals.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and industry standards (e.g., NFPA 96) during all cleaning operations.
- Inspect kitchen exhaust systems for potential issues, damage, or fire hazards and report findings to supervisors.
- Set up and break down equipment and work areas efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work sites are left clean and tidy after service completion.
- Maintain all assigned tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete cleaning tasks within specified timelines.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to work consistently during night hours (typically 9 PM – 6 AM).
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to safety procedures and cleaning protocols.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of English for communication and safety instructions.
