Job Description
Allison Transmission is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Factory Production Worker. This is an exceptional opportunity for those eager to begin a career in manufacturing, with no prior experience required. We offer comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to succeed. As a Factory Production Worker, you will be integral to the assembly and production of our high-quality products, working within a structured, safety-conscious environment. This role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts to support our continuous operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various machinery and utilize hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform assembly tasks following detailed work instructions and quality standards.
- Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks on components and finished products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with 5S principles.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues promptly.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
Required Skills
- Ability to read, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
- Basic problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or familiarity with hand tools.
