Job Description
Are you passionate about live music and eager to break into the vibrant world of concert promotion and venue operations? DF Concerts is offering an exciting internship opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team in Dundee. This entry-level position is designed to provide hands-on experience and comprehensive training across various aspects of concert production, marketing, and venue management. You will gain invaluable insight into how major music events are conceptualized, promoted, and executed, working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. No prior professional experience is required; we are looking for a keen learner with a strong work ethic and a love for music.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event planning, logistics, and on-site coordination for concerts and events.
- Support the marketing team in developing promotional materials, social media campaigns, and audience engagement strategies.
- Contribute to administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry.
- Learn about venue setup, stage management, and artist liaison duties.
- Assist with audience experience initiatives and front-of-house operations on event days.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, potential artists, and audience demographics.
- Participate in post-event analysis and reporting.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for live music and the entertainment industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Music Business, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.

- Basic knowledge of the local music scene in Scotland.
