Job Description

Wohlsen Construction is offering an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a General Labourer. This entry-level position requires no previous construction experience, as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. You will learn the fundamentals of construction, safety protocols, and gain valuable skills directly on our project sites in and around Wilmington, DE. This is a fantastic chance to build a solid foundation for a long-term career in a growing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks on construction sites.
- Perform general site clean-up and material handling, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision after proper training.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures diligently.
- Support site supervisors with basic duties as required.
- Maintain positive and respectful communication with team members and clients.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up temporary structures.
