Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Concierge / Front Desk professional to join our team, specifically for night shifts, at a high-end residential condominium in the quiet, prestigious area of Kensington, London. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in an independent setting, values a calm working environment, and is committed to providing discreet yet impeccable service to residents. You will be the primary point of contact during night hours, ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of the residents and the pristine condition of the building.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk and lobby area during night hours, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment.
- Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to maintain building security.
- Handle resident inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and discretion.
- Receive and log parcels, mail, and deliveries, ensuring proper distribution.
- Oversee access control for residents, visitors, and contractors.
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and escalate issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all activities and incidents during the shift.
- Assist with minor administrative tasks as required.
- Ensure the lobby and common areas remain tidy and presentable.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service, security, or front desk role (minimum 12 months).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment, especially during night shifts.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (email, word processing).
- A keen sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Eligibility to work night shifts on a consistent basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a luxury residential, hotel, or private members' club environment.
- First Aid certification.
- SIA Door Supervisor license (non-essential but a plus).
- Knowledge of local Kensington area amenities and services.
