Job Description
We are seeking a talented and imaginative Content Creator to join our dynamic marketing team in Reading. As a Content Creator, you will be instrumental in developing engaging and high-quality content that resonates with our target audience across various platforms. You will work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to produce compelling stories, articles, videos, and digital assets that support our brand messaging and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with marketing goals and brand guidelines.
- Write, edit, and proofread clear, concise, and engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and multimedia specialists to create visually appealing content.
- Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
- Monitor content performance, analyze metrics, and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and reach.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging content formats, and competitor activities.
- Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all content initiatives.
- Assist in the creation of video scripts, storyboards, and short-form video content.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Solid understanding of content marketing principles and SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with various content formats (text, image, video) and platforms (web, social media).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of content types and successful projects.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite basics).
