Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Conveyancer to join our thriving Property team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, ensuring the highest standards of client service and legal compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Conduct title examinations, property searches, and prepare all necessary legal documentation.
- Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors.
- Provide clear, concise, and commercially focused advice to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm policies.
- Contribute to the development of the Property team and participate in business development initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Conveyancer, managing a residential caseload.
- Thorough understanding of Scottish conveyancing law and practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor in Scotland or a Licensed Conveyancer.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies.
- Experience with commercial property transactions is a plus.
- A track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
