Job Description

As a Corporate Cafeteria Soup Station Attendant, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of our soup station during lunch shifts. Your primary goal will be to ensure our employees have access to a variety of fresh, hot, and delicious soup options, served with a friendly smile. This role involves setup, service, and clean-up, all within a focused lunch period, allowing for predictable and manageable shifts. We value attention to detail and a customer-first approach, and full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up the soup station before service, ensuring all items are fresh, hot, and appealing.
  • Serve soup to employees with a friendly and efficient manner during lunch hours.
  • Monitor soup levels and temperatures, refilling as needed to maintain a consistent supply and quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at the soup station throughout service.
  • Interact positively with employees, answering any questions regarding daily soup selections.
  • Assist with general cafeteria clean-up tasks after lunch service, including proper storage of leftover ingredients.
  • Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the catering supervisor.

  • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment (even part-time or voluntary).
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or 2).
  • Understanding of basic kitchen equipment operation.
