Job Description
Are you a social media enthusiast with a passion for TikTok and Instagram? Do you love creating viral content, spotting trends, and engaging with online communities? Reach PLC is excited to offer an entry-level, remote opportunity for a Social Media Assistant. This role is perfect for teens and young adults looking to kickstart their career in digital media, even with no prior professional experience. You’ll gain hands-on experience managing social media for a major media company, focusing on platforms popular with Gen Z. Full training will be provided to help you succeed and grow within our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content for TikTok and Instagram, including videos, Reels, Stories, and posts.
- Monitor social media trends, viral challenges, and emerging features relevant to our target audience.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Support in basic content calendar planning and execution.
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns and new content formats.
- Track and report on basic social media performance metrics (e.g., likes, shares, views) after initial training.
- Collaborate with the wider digital marketing team to ensure brand consistency and messaging.
Required Skills
- Strong personal familiarity with TikTok and Instagram platforms.
- A keen eye for current social media trends and viral content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of digital content creation (e.g., smartphone video recording and editing).
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a willingness to learn.
