Job Description

Join Exeter Iron & Grit CrossFit as our Customer Service Admin and be the welcoming face and organizational backbone of our vibrant fitness community. We’re seeking an enthusiastic individual to manage daily operations, ensure member satisfaction, and contribute to a positive, high-energy environment. This role is crucial in supporting our members’ fitness journeys and maintaining the smooth running of our facility, making a direct impact on the daily experience of our dedicated athletes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet members and visitors warmly, providing an exceptional first impression.
  • Manage front desk operations, including member check-ins and general inquiries.
  • Handle membership registrations, renewals, and payment processing accurately.
  • Assist with scheduling classes, appointments, and personal training sessions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and common spaces.
  • Communicate important announcements and updates to members effectively.
  • Provide administrative support to the coaching team and management as needed.
  • Help organize and promote gym events and community activities.

Required Skills

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service.
  • A positive, energetic, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a fitness center, gym, or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with CrossFit methodology or general fitness practices.
