Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Lead to join our dynamic team in Danbury, CT. This pivotal role involves leading a team of data analysts, driving data-driven strategies, and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders. You will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced analytical solutions, mentoring team members, and ensuring the integrity and quality of our data products. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
- Develop and execute data analytics strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced analytical models, reports, and dashboards.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for various business units.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business development, to identify analytical needs and deliver solutions.
- Oversee data quality, integrity, and governance processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and artificial intelligence.
- Manage analytical projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense).
- Expertise in statistical analysis and advanced analytical techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Experience in the technology or consulting industry.
