Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Dispatch Factory Hand to join our dedicated team at our Bundaberg facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient loading of our delicious beverages onto trucks for distribution. You will be responsible for preparing orders, safely loading goods, and maintaining a clean and organised dispatch area. This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for dispatch according to manifest.
- Safely load trucks with finished products using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Verify loaded quantities against dispatch documentation.
- Assist with receiving and storing incoming goods as required.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment in the dispatch area and warehouse.
- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns immediately.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and WHS regulations.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or logistics environment (6+ months).
- Forklift license (LF) or experience operating pallet jacks.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Current driver's license.
