Job Description
Are you looking to kickstart your career in logistics with no prior experience? Toll Group is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Dispatch Runner to join our busy warehouse team in Bunbury. This is an entry-level position where we will provide full training to equip you with the skills needed to succeed. As a Dispatch Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods, assisting with the preparation of deliveries, and supporting our dispatch operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of outgoing shipments, including sorting, scanning, and labelling.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Perform local deliveries and pickups as required, following designated routes and schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dispatch and warehouse areas.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse staff.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and transport regulations.
- Conduct pre-start checks on company vehicles and report any issues.
- Support inventory management through accurate handling and placement of goods.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian C-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 20kg repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Bunbury and surrounding areas.
- Forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain one (company-sponsored training may be available).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting (advantageous but not required).
- Current First Aid certificate.
